Brenzels Caribbean Cuisine opens in downtown Lewiston

Brenzels Caribbean Cuisine is open at 37 Park St., Lewiston, the former Chop Sticks. It is described as a family owned, unique and wholesome Jamaican restaurant with a twist. It is open for lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with takeout until 8 p.m. On Sundays only, Brenzels offers breakfast from 09:00.

Offerings include famous Jamaican dishes like saltfish and ackee, which are usually cooked with scotch bonnet peppers! There are vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, which can be viewed on her Facebook page. Dinner offerings include jerk chicken, chicken curry, oxtail, and Faith’s veggie bacon with rice.

Eight smoothies are on the menu, including guava, passion fruit and antioxidant berry.
